About the Opportunity

 

As the Project Governance & Planning Partner, you’ll be instrumental in running enterprise-wide cadences that facilitates prioritisation and organisation of work and capacity across RACV for our project and major feature work.

This dynamic role involves regular leadership reporting, maintaining prioritised roadmaps and pipeline artefacts, and providing coaching and support to business stakeholders engaged in our processes and frameworks. Your primary focus will be on aligning our portfolio with organisational goals and driving continuous improvement in planning, prioritisation, and governance.

 

This role is ideal for proactive, organised professionals with a strong understanding of project governance principles and both waterfall & agile methodologies. You will be skilled at systems thinking, capable of managing large, interrelated streams of work, and possess exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills.

You’ll be pivotal in ensuring our Program Management team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinate enterprise cadences & work submissions, ensuring stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure adherence to project governance standards for consistent planning & delivery performance
  • Prepare executive-level reporting on behalf of the PMO
  • Maintain prioritised project pipeline views for major technology systems
  • Develop & deliver department and project training materials to support the adoption of changes in areas of responsibility
  • Surface and maintain enterprise dependencies, risks & issues across the portfolio.

 

Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring

 

Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything. You’ll come with:

  • 5+ years’ experience in E/PMO, or direct involvement in Enterprise Strategic Planning & support
  • Applied knowledge of Project, Program and Portfolio governance frameworks and Project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile etc.)
  • Degree in Business, Risk, IT or related discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience in project delivery or governance
  • The ability to understand how systems connect together, and to solve for challenges / opportunities holistically.  
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and build relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with high attention to detail
  • Capable of analysing information, creating reports, and promoting evidence-based decisions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Project
  • Project Management certification (e.g. Prince2, PMI or P30 or equivalent), highly desirable
