About the Opportunity
The Product Coordinator role contributes to the department’s revenue and growth objectives by supporting the delivery of growth mandates.
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager (Home, Business & Niche Insurance), this role will support the development and delivery of strategic and growth initiatives across Home, Business and Niche Insurance and portfolio management of these products.
Key responsibilities:
Day to day co-ordination and execution of product-related initiatives that contribute to business goals, enhance the customer and consultant experience and drive continuous improvement. These include:
- Supporting digital and frontline optimisation and enhancement activities
- Supporting collateral reviews as a product SME, collaborating with IAG / IAL where necessary.
- Support quarterly planning and business plan development as required.
- Support the management of incidents / issues / risk management processes as required.
- Proactively identify and support opportunities that deliver cost-savings, process efficiencies, sales and customer experience uplifts.
- Act as the central point of contact for product-related queries.
- Ongoing monitoring of sales and retention indicators and where appropriate, introduce interventions to address under-performance.
- Prepare monthly reporting, using internal and external data and insights to explain performance trends.
- Support the delivery of key strategic projects when required.
- Support cross-functional collaboration to drive outcomes and maintain a clear product lens across programs of work.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Business or related tertiary qualification is desirable
- Experience in Insurance is highly desirable
- Experience in a product/sales/marketing environment is desirable
