About the Opportunity
As the Payroll Services Advisor, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Payrolls for RACV. This includes but is not limited to the processing and calculation of pay adjustments, exceptions, terminations, back pays, salary rate changes and associated Payroll payments in line with the Payroll SLAs.

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Payroll team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
- Processing accurate and timely delivery of weekly and monthly payrolls and the associated end to end processes, including but not limited to:
- New Starters/Separations
- Bonuses, backpays & termination payments
- STP
- PAYG
- Payroll tax
- Superannuation
- Leave
- Reconciliation and reporting
- Work with a continuous improvement mindset to deliver payroll best practice through payroll processes and procedures and ensure these are consistently applied to the enterprise.
- Ensure that all Payroll SLAs are maintained and adhered to.
- Ensure payments to employees are made in accordance with the relevant industrial instruments and legislative requirements
- Maintain proactive awareness of relevant legislation and standards including identification of pending changes.
What you’ll need to be successful
- 5 years' experience working in a complex payroll environment, including resolution of complex payroll exceptions
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Able to work independently and as a team member
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience interpreting industrial instruments, particularly Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards and HR Policies.
- Payroll systems experiences including SAP and/or Kronos
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll related laws, regulations and compliance activities and Superannuation legislation
- Diploma or equivalent in Payroll or accounting desirable
