About the Opportunity

 

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support our Automotive Services department. Reporting to the Finance and Operations Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across financial transactions, data management, reporting, and general administration. You’ll work closely with internal teams and contractor networks, contribute to process improvements, and support various projects and initiatives that drive operational efficiency.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

 

  • Financial Administration: Process contractor and supplier payments, manage debtor accounts, and ensure month-end financial requirements are met.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain operational databases, reconcile data, and produce reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Operational Support: Assist with departmental projects, change management, and incident tracking; manage supplies and materials for teams and contractors.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Monitor spare parts usage, maintain archive records, and support document distribution across networks.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with Operations teams, contribute to a positive team environment, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

 

 

What you’ll need to be successful

 

  • Experience in a team environment
  • Relevant business experience with exposure to large data sets and reporting
  • Microsoft Office Intermediate to Advanced
  • Desirable: Experience within a customer service / sales support role and basic accounting experience
