About the opportunity
RACV is seeking a commercial, strategic and hands‑on Marketing Manager to lead marketing across our Travel & Experiences and Travel Insurance portfolio. This is a senior role within our Leisure Marketing team, responsible for driving awareness and consideration growth while delivering strong sales outcomes in a fast‑paced, seasonal category.
You’ll drive brand strategies and programs designed to support long‑term growth while delivering at pace against short‑term commercial targets, responding rapidly to market conditions. A strong focus on maximising owned member channels, alongside paid activity, and close collaboration with Product and Revenue teams will be key to accelerating the Travel & Experiences and Travel Insurance portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Create and deliver the strategic marketing plan for RACV Travel and RACV Travel Insurance portfolio, achieving annual business KPIs
- Shape and refine the RACV Travel and Travel Insurance value propositions, building our understanding and focus on target audiences and developing strong creative platforms that power effective communications
- Develop a compelling campaign program, owning, media and creative briefs, and managing agency partners
- Manage budgets, commercial forecasts and ROI measurement for all programs under your leadership
- Build strong relationships across Resorts, Club, Product, Revenue and Marketing teams
- Coach and lead a high‑performing marketing team
About you
- 7+ years’ experience in strategic B2C marketing
- Expertise in full funnel marketing channels, including strong capability in both brand building and ambitious acquisition programs
- Commercial mindset with proven budget ownership and commercial measurement focus
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
- A highly creative, data‑driven approach with a passion for continuous improvement
- Ability to ‘think differently’ to drive impact across not just paid, but also owned and earned channels
