About the Opportunity
The Marketing Consultant plays a key role in shaping and executing RACV’s marketing communications strategy across the Leisure, Member Benefits, and Mobile App portfolios.
This position is responsible for developing and delivering integrated 1:1 marketing initiatives that drive meaningful engagement and improve conversion across RACV’s direct marketing ecosystem. Through a data-driven approach, the role focuses on enhancing acquisition, cross-sell, and retention outcomes across all channels. Success will be driven by leveraging insights, performance analysis, and continuous optimisation, underpinned by a test-and-learn mindset. Additionally, the Marketing Consultant will apply audience segmentation and campaign best practices to create exceptional marketing experiences that resonate with our members.

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Marketing team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
- Lead the design of omnichannel 1:1 marketing communication experiences, including journey design and stand-alone campaign design.
- Coordinate the delivery of omnichannel 1:1 marketing activities for the Leisure, Member Benefits and Mobile App portfolio that deliver against the 1:1 Marketing & Communications objectives, stakeholder needs and divisional and enterprise goals, including but not limited to: audience targeting, opportunity sizing, defining business rules, messaging and communication plans, campaign/journey design and delivery, and measurement.
- Leverage data and insights to identify opportunities and implement continuous improvements to improve in-market campaigns and journeys.
- As required, support divisional operational cadence by providing ad hoc strategic insights into nominated forums.
- Any additional duties from time to time, in consideration of your skills and experience.
What you’ll need to be successful
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years in business to consumer discipline with a strong emphasis on communications strategy, 1:1 marketing / journey design, preferably in a large matrix structured corporate organisation.
- Proven ability in designing personalised, omni-channel communication journeys, and working with a cross-functional team to implement and continuously optimise the journeys.
- Ability to clearly articulate business challenges and direct outcomes through effective planning
- Proven experience in leading & coordinating stakeholder groups in dynamic environments to achieve positive business outcomes
- Strong presentation, communication and written skills, and financial acumen.
- Understanding of agile project management tools (Jira and Confluence).
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills and good application of all other Microsoft Office packages
- Experience using design tools, including Figma, Miro or similar.
- Experience with Marketing automation tools including Salesforce Marketing Cloud
