About the Opportunity

As the Injury Prevention Business Partner, reporting to the Head of Health Safety and Wellbeing, you will be responsible for designing and delivering programs to both prevent and manage as early as possible, injuries and illnesses whilst optimizing health, wellbeing, and performance.

You will play a pivotal role in rehabilitating our team members back to optimal health and performance and use this experience to design and deliver programs which not only aim to minimise the risk of injury or illness but improve the health and wellbeing of our team members.  

 

You will support:

  • The delivery of RACV’s early intervention program
  • Return to work case management and planning for recovery and effective sustainable RTW outcomes
  • Fitness for duty assessments and management of non-work-related injuries and illnesses
  • Workers compensation claims management, rehabilitation and return to work (RTW) programs, and injury reporting
  • Gathering and interpretation of health and medical information to provide advice to key stakeholders
  • Establishment of key internal and external provider relationships
  • Consultative advice and coaching to frontline leaders, senior leaders and corporate support roles in injury management and prevention needs
  • Continuous improvement projects to enhance our systemic controls for providing a safe workplace for all team members
  • Onsite assessment and interventions to promote capability uplift and improved performance

 

Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring.

Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything. You’ll come with:

  • Allied health degree
  • Rehabilitation and/or RTW coordinator training or experience
  • Psychological First Aid training or equivalent
  • Train the trainer certification or experience

Demonstrated experience in:

  • Occupational rehabilitation and/or injury management of injured or ill employees
  • Design and delivery of injury prevention programs including training
  • Personal injury compensation and preferably workers compensation in Vic, Tas and Qld
  • Preparing, analysing, interpreting and presenting data to inform organizational decision making
  • Use of SolvInjury or similar case management platform
