About the opportunity

 

RACV is seeking a Head of AI Partnerships & Strategy to play a pivotal role in the evolution of our enterprise AI roadmap. This is a senior, high‑impact role responsible for bringing strong external insight and deep internal partnerships together to ensure RACV’s AI agenda remains market‑leading and delivers meaningful business value.

 

Reporting into the AI leadership team, you will lead the strategy and insights work that provides the external stimulus and internal alignment required to shape RACV’s forward AI macro‑program. With a dual focus on internal capability and external market, competitor, and technology trends, you will proactively identify and size new AI opportunities and help translate them into clear strategic direction.

 

 

A snapshot of what you’ll be doing

 

  • Build and maintain senior‑level partnerships across the business and Technology, ensuring strong sponsorship for RACV’s AI roadmap and its scaled delivery
  • Bring the voice of the business into AI strategy, surfacing opportunities where AI can drive the greatest value
  • Continuously monitor the external AI landscape, including market, competitor, and technology developments, and assess relevance to RACV’s enterprise strategy
  • Articulate strategic options and recommendations in response to an evolving AI environment
  • Establish and manage relationships with external AI vendors, critically assessing the substance and maturity of their capabilities
  • Partner with the AI Tech Proof of Value Lead to advise on buy and configure vs. build decisions
  • Play a major role in shaping discussion papers, presentations, and strategic materials for senior executives, including CEO and Board‑level audiences
  • Champion AI across RACV, acting as an internal ambassador through showcases, demonstrations, and knowledge‑sharing sessions, and fostering broad adoption of AI tools, including Copilot

 

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • 5-10+ years’ experience in strategy consulting, advanced analytics, data science, or AI-focused roles, with a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, engineering, or information technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy with a strong external focus, leveraging market, competitor, and industry insights to inform organizational direction.
  • Proven track record in advising, designing, and implementing data-driven strategies that deliver measurable business value, including shaping initiative concepts and quantifying economic impact.
  • Strong engagement, communication, and influencing skills, with experience presenting to and collaborating with senior management (EGMs/CEO) and cross-functional teams.
  • Effective matrix leadership and collaboration skills, driving alignment and adoption of AI strategy across diverse business units.
  • Experience leading change and fostering a culture of innovation in complex organizational environments.
