About the Opportunity
As Finance Business Partner for Insurance & Roadside, you will act as the key point of contact for finance services across all departments within the division, delivering a balanced approach to financial management, reporting, and strategic advice to drive performance. You’ll oversee core finance services including decision support, planning, reporting and accounting, while partnering with leaders to shape strategic priorities through strong insights, product performance analysis, and commercial rigour.
Reporting to the Head of Advisory and Planning Services, you’ll collaborate closely with divisional leaders and key corporate stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities, support investment decisions, and drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.
As Finance Business Partner you will
Financial Leadership & Advisory
- Be a trusted advisor to internal clients, supporting co-achievement of KPI’s and positive financial outcomes, including contribution as part of the leadership team.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
Commercial Support
- Develop and review business cases for new initiatives and investments.
- Assess financial viability and return on investment for proposed projects.
Business Planning & Forecasting
- Lead coordination of the annual planning/budget cycle and rolling forecasting processes.
- Monitor divisional performance against budgets and targets, partnering on corrective actions where needed.
Reporting & Analysis
- Produce divisional product reporting and analysis and prepare strategic/performance presentations.
- Interpret and communicate insights clearly and concisely to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- Drive improvements across financial processes, reporting and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated business solutions and promote financial accountability.
What you’ll need to be successful
- 8 years relevant post graduate business experience including accounting or commercial management role
- Tertiary qualifications in fields of business, accounting and/or economics
- Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant essential
- Experience of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting
- Strong knowledge of business case development
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication with strong influencing skills
- High level financial analysis, modelling and business reporting skills
- Commercial Acumen
