About the opportunity

We’re looking for a Product Owner – Mobile App to lead the next evolution of RACV’s mobile experience.

Owning the vision and roadmap, you’ll lead a cross-functional squad to turn customer insight, data and experimentation into intuitive digital experiences that deliver real member and business value. From personalisation and seamless onboarding to smarter self-service, engagement and digital sales, you’ll shape what we build next and continually push the mobile experience forward.

What you’ll be doing

• Own and deliver the mobile app product vision and roadmap, aligned with digital strategy, member needs and business priorities.
• Lead a cross-functional squad across Product, UX, Personalisation, Analytics, Development, Business Analysis and Testing from concept through to delivery and optimisation.
• Translate customer problems and business opportunities into clear priorities, user stories and an achievable product backlog.
• Use customer research, analytics, app store feedback and performance data to identify opportunities and guide product decisions.
• Drive improvements across key mobile experiences including onboarding, navigation, accessibility, personalisation, push notifications, self-service and digital sales.
• Partner closely with Technology to continuously improve app performance, stability, reliability and compatibility across iOS and Android.
• Apply experimentation, testing and continuous improvement to understand what works and optimise experiences based on evidence.
• Balance new features and innovation with enhancements, technical considerations and bug fixes to maximise customer and commercial value.
• Clearly communicate priorities, trade-offs, risks and product decisions to senior stakeholders and the broader business.
• Champion contemporary product-led ways of working, strengthening product capability and creating an environment focused on accountability, curiosity and continuous learning.
• Ensure privacy, security, accessibility, compliance and operational requirements are considered throughout product development.

What you’ll bring

You’re an experienced digital product professional who can move confidently between strategy, customer insight and hands-on delivery. You’re comfortable setting direction while staying close to the detail, and you know how to bring diverse teams together around a clear product vision.

You’ll also bring

• 5 years + experience as a Product Owner, leading cross-functional mobile teams from design through to delivery.
• Demonstrated experience owning product roadmaps, prioritising complex backlogs and leading agile product squads.
• Experience delivering and enhancing customer-facing mobile apps, ideally across iOS and Android.
• A strong understanding of mobile usability, performance, releases and evolving customer expectations.
• The ability to use analytics, research, experimentation and customer insight to make informed product decisions and measure impact.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to connect product decisions with measurable customer and business outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and articulate decisions at senior levels.
• The ability to navigate competing priorities and make clear calls on where the team should focus.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma and digital analytics platforms.
• A relevant qualification in Business, Digital, Technology or a related discipline is desirable.
