About the Opportunity 

 

As the Developer (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), you will play an integral role in supporting RACV’s main enterprise channel for proactive engagement with Members, Customers and Prospects that drive business performance through awareness, affinity, consideration, purchase, use and renewal of all RACV products and services.  As part of this, you will focus primarily on the design and execution of automated multi-channel campaign activities and customer journeys within RACV’s marketing automation platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

The role interfaces with the immediate Data, Strategy & Analytics team and across the broader business including Technology, Digital & Digital Products, Brand and Marketing as well as individual product teams

 

 

Key responsibilities of the role:

 

  • Establish a campaign delivery capability that is reliable, scalable and measurable in the execution of all campaign activities.
  • Ensure seamless execution and deliveries of all campaigns across multiple channels, including integration into Salesforce and other digital mediums.
  • Development of marketing automation campaign delivery framework, in the areas of automated and trigger-based campaigns and customer communications journeys.
  • Identify and build data triggers for automated communications (e.g. journey entry events, decision splits, etc.) in the SFMC platform.
  • Work in conjunction with Marketing teams to deliver and continuously optimise campaigns across the entire customer’s life cycle
  • Act as RACV’s Subject Matter Expert in the delivery of all key communication workstreams in cross functional projects relating to deliveries in communications to achieve positive business outcomes. 
  • Ensure projects are completed accurately and within specified time frames
  • Develop and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders and external providers

 

 

What you’ll need to be successful

 

  • Strong knowledge and technical experience in managing data imports and writing SQL statements required
  • Knowledge in HTML/CSS and Salesforce Ampscript/ Javascript coding will be highly regarded
  • Experience in SFMC components will be highly regarded, primarily Automation Studio and Journey Builder desirable
  • Degree Qualified in Computer Science or a related field desirable
  • Proven experience in developing, optimising and managing CRM and 1:1 campaigns and journeys
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and business acumen when designing solutions to business problems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data driven approach
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills and high attention to details, with the ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects under tight deadlines.
