About the Opportunity

The Banking Advisor is our central contact for RACV’s banking, payments, and corporate credit card activities. The role manages day‑to‑day banking operations, keeps processes accurate and compliant, and supports improvements across our financial control environment. It also works closely with our banking partners and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and streamline workflows.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Manage bank account updates, POS/BPAY setup and corporate credit card administration
  • Oversee daily banking operations, manual payments and reconciliations (including PayPal)
  • Review monthly bank fees, investigate variances and support budgeting/forecasting
  • Assist with covenant reporting and ensure accurate accruals
  • Provide monthly updates on key work and progress
  • Produce ad hoc insights on payment trends and exceptions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external banks to resolve issues
  • Maintain process documentation and drive improvements
  • Support RACV’s Health, Safety & Wellbeing requirements

 

About you

  • Degree in Accounting, Business or similar
  • CPA/CA qualified or progressing (preferred)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in finance, banking or treasury
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Clear communicator and effective stakeholder manager
  • Organised, proactive, and able to handle competing priorities
  • Team‑oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Comfortable working in a structured, controls‑driven environment
  • Solid understanding of accounting, treasury and internal controls
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
  • Awareness of operational risk, fraud indicators and payment security
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities
