About the Opportunity
As the 1:1 Marketing Manager for Leisure and Membership, you’ll plan and deliver 1:1 Marketing communications including campaigns and lifecycle journeys to deliver an uplift in Leisure sales and enquiries, member benefit utilisation, and membership engagement.
You’ll do this through data- and insights-led activity, performance analysis and optimisation, and building a strong continuous improvement culture, creating best-in-class marketing experiences through personalised, omnichannel communications.

You’ll be instrumental in enabling communication excellence, working with stakeholders to advise, shape, deliver, and continuously improve our 1:1 communications experience.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing

Partner with the Head of Marketing Planning & 1:1 Communications to help define the strategy and plan for 1:1 marketing interventions that deliver commercial outcomes for Leisure and Membership.

Lead the design of marketing communication experiences (segmentation, opportunity sizing, creative messaging/comms strategy, campaign/journey design and delivery, and measurement) aligned to 1:1 objectives, stakeholder needs and enterprise goals.

Execute the planning and delivery framework and act as Agile Product Owner for 1:1 activity across the portfolio, working with channel owners and delivery teams to enable a connected omnichannel experience.

Leverage the 1:1 measurement framework and best-practice performance tracking to embed a continuous improvement culture.

Build and manage an experimentation/optimisation roadmap across relevant channels (test-and-learn).

Promote best practice by sharing examples of best-in-class communications across teams.

Lead, mentor and coach team members supporting the delivery of 1:1 Marketing Communications.

Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external partners and contribute to cross-divisional planning to identify requirements that deliver on program imperatives.

Prepare senior stakeholder reporting to provide transparency on status, progress, dependencies, risks and issues.

Communicate with influence at all levels to drive the best business outcomes and ensure clarity across leadership on priorities, risks and support required
What you’ll need to be successful
-
10+ years B2C experience with emphasis in 1:1, CRM or lifecycle marketing (ideally in a large, matrix organisation).

Proven experience developing commercial 1:1 marketing delivery plans; exposure to agile delivery.

Demonstrated ability designing personalised, omnichannel marketing communications journeys and leading teams to implement compelling, creative communications that influence action from a target audience.

Exceptional stakeholder management; confident communicator with strong presentation and writing skills

Strong quantitative capability and financial acumen

Advanced PowerPoint and Excel; strong Microsoft Office suite capability

Experience with Jira and Confluence

Marketing automation/personalisation experience an advantage, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud
