About the opportunity

 

As our 1:1 Marketing Consultant, you’ll play a key role in shaping how RACV connects with members across our Leisure portfolio, creating personalised, high-impact communications that drive engagement and conversion.

 

You’ll own the end‑to‑end design, build and delivery of our weekly Leisure newsletters and targeted campaigns, using data, insights and performance analysis to boost acquisition, cross‑sell and retention. With a strong test‑and‑learn mindset, you’ll continually optimise segmentation, dynamic content and speed to market ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.

 

Working closely with teams across Leisure Marketing, Group Design Practice, Product and our 1:1 and Salesforce Marketing Cloud delivery teams as well as key external partners, you’ll help bring standout campaigns to life across RACV’s 1:1 ecosystem.

You’ll be instrumental in delivering high-performing 1:1 communications for our Leisure portfolio. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

 

  • Lead the front-end design and build of omnichannel 1:1 marketing communications, including weekly newsletters and stand-alone ad-hoc campaign design.
  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery of 1:1 marketing activity, partnering with Leisure Marketing and Leisure Product stakeholders on content strategy (offer, message, product) for each audience segment.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify opportunities and implement continuous improvements that lift engagement and response.
  • Use performance analysis and optimisation to embed a continuous improvement culture across your communications.
  • Contribute ad-hoc strategic insights into nominated forums to support divisional operational cadence.
  • Any additional duties from time to time, in consideration of your skills and experience.

 

 

What you’ll bring

 

As a seasoned 1:1 marketing professional, you’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and be passionate about delivering best-in-class communication experiences.

 

  • Strong hands-on capability designing and building emails, SMS and push notifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • 5+ years’ experience in B2C marketing with a strong emphasis on communications strategy and hands-on 1:1 marketing / journey design (ideally in a large, matrix corporate environment).
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Experience using design tools such as Figma, Miro (or similar).
  • Proven experience designing personalised, omnichannel communication journeys and continuously optimising them with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior leaders and build trust across diverse groups.
  • Strong project management skills with confidence working across agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate complex business problems into actionable 1:1 opportunities.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills and a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
