About the Opportunity

 

As the 1:1 Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of 1:1 Marketing and Communications across the Home and Motor portfolios, including the strategy and implementation oversight of the Member Communication Experience.

 

This role will leverage data and insights to drive effective engagement and conversion of our customers through 1:1 communications and journeys, generating uplift in acquisition, cross sell and retention. They will foster a continuous improvement culture, creating best in class Member experiences through our communications.

 

This role will continue to amplify and enable communication excellence across all areas by advising, communicating, and executing with a variety of stakeholders

You will be instrumental in ensuring our Marketing and Communications team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

 

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing Planning, Performance and 1:1 Communications to help define the strategy and plan for 1:1 Marketing & Communications (including interventions and activities) to deliver commercial outcomes for RACV. 
  • Deliver clear and achievable recommendations for successful execution against 1:1 Marketing and Communications objectives, stakeholder needs and divisional & enterprise goals, not limited to: audience segmentation, opportunity sizing, defining messaging and comms strategies, creative development, delivery and measurement. 
  • Identify opportunities to leverage existing Marketing communications channels and develop, implement and manage audiences and processes to deliver the desired outcomes
  • Develop and execute against the Enterprise planning and delivery framework, including quarterly planning and agile delivery
  • Lead the design and deliver continuous improvement projects to uplift our Member Communications Experience
  • Analyse and communicate the performance of our 1:1 activity using our Marketing Measurement Framework, providing best practice insights and recommendations to support an always on continuous improvement culture. 
  • Design and manage experimentation/optimisation roadmap for 1:1 Marketing and Communications activity across all respective channels 
  • Lead, mentor and coach a team who will support this role in delivering 1:1 Marketing and Member Communications  
  • Act as trusted advisor to key internal and external business partners, and participate in cross-divisional planning, to identify opportunities that will successfully deliver on programme imperatives.  

 

 

What you’ll need to be successful

 

  • 5+ years' experience in business to consumer discipline with a strong emphasis in strategic marketing or business planning, preferably in a large matrix structured corporate organisation.
  • Proven ability to develop commercial and operational strategy and devise operational delivery plans, preferably experienced in agile project delivery Proven ability in designing personalised, omni-channel marketing communications journeys, and leading a team to implement and continuously optimise the journeys. 
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
  • A strong strategic thinker with clear demonstrable logic and problem-solving ability 
  • Ability to clearly articulate business challenges and direct outcomes through effective planning  
  • Proven experience in leading & coordinating stakeholder groups in dynamic environments to achieve positive business outcomes 
  • Extensive strategic marketing communications experience, including a proven quantitative ability 
  • Strong presentation, communication and written skills, and financial acumen. 
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills and good application of all other Microsoft Office packages 
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence 
  • Experience with Marketing automation and personalisation tools, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Target
