About the Opportunity

 

The Senior Change Manager will play a key role in the success of a complex organisational change such as changes to business processes, technologies, capability uplift, organisational structure, job roles and systems. Leveraging expertise and best practices in developing clear and compelling engagement, communications and organisation design materials, and leading learning specialists, will be critical for success in this role.

 

This role will work in a highly complex people, process, and technology change environment as RACV looks to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial system.

The Senior Change Manager will need to influence and provide support to all levels of the organisation alongside of the following responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and communicate organisational change and engagement plans and strategies, including contributing to scope planning and business case development where required
  • Partner with project and business stakeholders to complete high-level and detailed change analytics/diagnostics to determine scale and risk of change impacts and develop mitigation tactics to address any risk or areas of resistance
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop stakeholder management and resistance plans
  • Lead learning specialists to uplift capability and increase user readiness
  • Create and implement organisation design activities to align capabilities with the new technology and ways of working
  • Design, develop and execute enterprise communications and engagement plans, including supporting artefacts via digital and in person channel that are aligned to key messages for impacted business areas and end users
  • Provide leadership to team members through establishing performance expectations, coaching, training and career development opportunities for members of your team and the broader Change Practice

What you’ll need to be successful

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in business related field
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise system, process, role, and organisational changes required, ideally in a similar project environment
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence, ERP (Finance) implementations, with system integrations (highly desirable)
  • Exposure to technology, process, role, and organisational change implementations across a range of role types
  • People Centred Implementation (PCI) ® or Prosci® Change Management certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the strategies, plans, tools, techniques and methodologies used for change management
  • Experience liaising with and influencing Senior and Executive levels
  • Decision making which impacts the success of assigned work i.e. results, deadlines and budget
  • Analyses requirements and advises on scope and options for continual operational improvement in your project
